Citrix Web Interface Internet Access Problem, From Citrix MF XP SRV having 2 NIC’s:

Muhammad Attique Hi,

I published INTools on my Citrix MF XP 1.0 SR4 server. It is running fine using Clients %26#38; browsers over the LAN from my one NIC of SRV having Class B Subnet e.g. 172.16.88.0. Another NIC which is having Class C Subnet e.g. 192.168.234.0 is being NATed to my Public IP Address. Over the Internet when i access my server using my public IP %26#38; click on the published application it gives an error “Cannot connect to the Citrix MetaFrame server. There is no Citrix MetaFrame server configured on the specified address.” My Citrix MF XP Server is configured for LAN Subnet ZONE only. Can it be the problem?
Quick replies will be highly appreciated,

Regards,
M. Attique

Muhammad Attique Hi,

Sorry for Spamming all the forums, But my problem still never solved. I had already done the same as guided at the URL But not to work. i can telnet my server using 1494 port %26#38; my 2nd NIC only have gateway configured. AltAddr command is added as under:

altaddr /set 192.168.x.x 202.x.x.x

But i am getting following error when accessing the application from internet

“Cannot connect to the Citrix MetaFrame server. There is no Citrix MetaFrame server configured on the specified address”

Regards,
Muhammad Attique.

Muhammad Attique Hi,
Thanks for replying.
The External NIC/IP have only the gateway address configured and this is one the top of binding list. This is the IP for what the altaddr is added.

Muhammad Attique.

Muhammad Attique NO, Not any fix NIC is configured. All Network Adapters Configured.

Muhammad Attique Hi,

I putted them on fixed and tested, But problem is still there, :( can anybody diagnose the problem.

Regards,
Muhammad Attique

Muhammad Attique From the start of this conversation i am talking about the internet clints, Which are anybody over the internet %26#38; access our website. What altaddr for clients you are talking about?

Regards,
Muhammad Attique.

Muhammad Attique May be, You are right. Now please note that altaddr for 2nd NIC is added and it is higher in connection order, IP for this NIC is being natted to a public IP using which we are accessing our server. Website is being accessed, our domain user successfully logs in but when access app, it simply gives error. “There is no server configure etc etc …”
In web interface i tested for all “normal”, “alternate“, “translated” configs but not succeed.
Yes i am using NFuse, Now i am sending my NFuse.conf data with “normal” setting at the moment.

NFUSE.CONF (as bellow)

Muhammad Attique I tried these lines and tested after iisresrt, But it never worked. Yes, Using netstat -an i can see the internet users connected to my server on port 80.
