Citrix 4.5 Network printer mapping
| Guest | I鈥檝e a funny problem within my Citrix farm it a Meta frame XP 1.0 SP4 on a Win 2000 server. We have 4 servers in the farm all the same spec. The problem we are having is printer mapping:
Scenario: If a user logs onto citrix1 in the farm all they get is the local printer installed on the server none of the network printer that install on the server are mapped? On are other 3 server all the network printers are mapped no problem but some time citrix1 will start mapping the network printer again then citrix4 stops mapping grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr any help welcome \\muos o(-_-)o |

We were experiencing the same issue. I found that on one server(server where users only got local printer into sessions) .\ctx_smaUser account did not have “Log on As a service” -right and because of that Citrix Print Manager service was not running. After correcting this issue by modifying Local Security Policy everything works fine. Mikko |
