I’ve configured VIP in my Citrix Presentation 4.0 farm with a range of IP addresses. The problem that I have is when the server is rebooted, I get an IP address confilct on startup.

Somehow the IP range that is configured for VIP is binding itself to the local network adapter, when in fact the local network adapter has its own IP address.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this issue?

In order to assign virtual IP address ranges, you must have a reserved range of static IP addresses that you can assign to the server. obtain a list of free addresses that are not part of DHCP pool.
