Citrix Licensing License Management console errors

Paul Schwartz I’m a newbie so please excuse this basic question.

When I opened the license management console I saw that I was the only named user, which I assumed was why other admins couldn’t open the console either. I tried to add someone else but saw a “run-time error” display. Now when I try to get into the licensing server I see the same message as my other admins: “You did not authenticate correctly. Please try again or contact your system administrator.”

How can I add/remove users without this GUI? Do I need to reinstall this component?


super pippo Unless you played with IIS it might be worth reinstalling the management console (not the entire license server).
The user who installs the Management Console is the only one that can access it. Other users (domain\user) must be added after install (no groups allowed).

You can add users to the license console by modifying the tomcat-users.xml file indicated in the following KB article.

Although it seems strange you can’t get in now with an account that did work. I would reboot the licensing server anyway just incase any of the services have hung.
