citrix3 Backup software + .NET2.0 and WI

We have a farm with Citrix Presentation Server 3.0 in production with WI. We have to make an image of the servers with software that makes use. NET Framework 2.0. The servers are Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 and our idea was to isolate ASP, if possible, to install the backup software needed to complete the image of the servers. Has anyone done this isolation? Is it feasible? Someone has encountered a similar problem and can guide us in this regard.
