| Benjamin Le | Hello everyone, I’m new to Citrix and need some advice. My company decided to move some of our Citrix servers to our branch office. Internally we don’t use Citrix, we’re only hosting for clients to access through the internet. I recently move 1 of my Citrix server, CX1 to the Branch Office which we have 6MB connection to. When users connect to CX1, they reported that it took forever to log on and while they’re in the application, it’s very sluggish. What change do I need to make. WAN communication to CX1 is very fast but when clients connect to it there have long delays. Do I need to add a Domain Controller in the Branch Office location? Does it help if the Citrix Database are moved to the Branch location? What is the best practice for moving 1 Citrix server from LAN to a remote office? Thank you in advance. Ben |
| Ian Pugh | Another thing to consider is how you set up your printers. If they are UNC mapped from client or Auto Created within citrix. This can make a big difference |
