Citrix 4.5 Some Can’t Print

Kelly Gafford Ok, I’ve been digging around the forums looking for an answer and have yet find anything close to my problem. I have XenApp5 PS running on my Server 2003 and everything is fine except some users can’t print. The client printer doesn’t show up. Their local drive follow them over, but the printers do not. Most of my users are fine, just a small few that are scattered in different locations.

What I’ve tried doing so far is altering the terminal services setting (bad move) but then these few could print but the rest of my users couldn’t. Reset that, and got the system back to the original problem. I double checked to see if these users were in a special group that was causing the problem, but the groups they belong to are the same as the users who can print. I checked their XP Firewall and even went so far as to delete their account and re-create it. But they still can’t print.

there’s nothing special about the printers they are using, one is an HP LJ 2015P and the other is an HP LJ 4050. When I changed the terminal services they were able to print fine, the printer was coming over, but it locked out everyone else.

The only thing I can come up with is there is something with their system that is causing the problem but I can’t think of what it could be.
