citrix3 Form Scripting Support

I am running Office XP on 2000 server. MPS 3.0. We run a Cisco voicemail product called unity and it uses custom forms. Whenever anyone selects a message sent by the system Outlook errors with: Administrator error: “Microsoft Outlook can’t provide form scripting support. This feature is not currently installed. Would you like to install it now?” Clicking yes brings up a install box it runs, but them comes back after closing and re-opening. User Error: “Microsoft Outlook can’t provide form scripting support. An error occurred and this feature is no longer functioning properly. Please contact your system administrator” Not much out there about this. I have replaced the OUTLVBS.DLL, installed windows script 5.6, office sp3. I believe I am out of options. This error does not occur outside of Citrix. Thanks in advance! |

2. Select Microsoft Office and click Change. 3. Select the Advanced Customization feature when 4. Install this feature and restart Outlook.

| James Allen | Filemon showed that even though the component installer wouldn’t fail, it was missing files.

| Clayton Odell | Recently had this issue with Outlook 2003 and copied the OUTLVBS.DLL to the server. This allows the form to work, but you still get the annoying popup message about lacking scripting support. I contacted MS support and they had be copy these two registry keys from a workstation to fix it:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\9040110900063D11C8EF10054038389C\Features\OutlookVBScript HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Components\3BDE92CC2CB71D119A12000A9CE1A22A\9040110900063D11C8EF10054038389C I left off the values because they may be different depending on your install environment. |
