citrix4Adding address to ‘Trusted Sites’ of Citrix server
| Xylia Support | Hi
We are running Citrix PS4.0 on a Windows 2003 server farm. Our Domain Controllers are Windows 2003 too. We have an application (AppA) that is published on a Citrix server (ServerA) and running fine. However, a new functionality means that if a user presses a certain button on the server, an IE browser open (in their ICA session) and tries to navigate to; http://ServerA:9090/function When this is carried out over Citrix, the IE window that opens just stays blank. If we carry this out on a fat client running on a PC, we can see the content of that page. I’ve tested http://ServerA:9090/function on the actual server itself, and get the same blank page. If I add http://ServerA to the list of Trusted Sites in IE on the server, then the functionality works! The problem is - how do I apply this change to all users that use this app via Citrix? I guess it would be a GPO of some sort, but is there another way? All our Citrix servers are in one OU, however only one server runs this app. If I applied this GPO (using a loopback) to the OU, then wouldn’t this affect everyone applying to any Citrix server? Any pointers appreciated! |
