citrix4Random Profiles becoming Fully Qualified

Quick question:

All our CTX profiles are stored on a filestore under the
syntax

Citrix Profiles\xxxx

however, some have started to appear as
Citrix Proilfes\xxxx.YYYYY (YYYY being our fully qualified name)

A couple of moved the xxxx to xxxx.YYYY, the others have
created new ones in the form of xxxx.YYYY - missing the original profile xxxx when the user logs in.

Has anyone seen this before ?- no settings as far as I’m aware have been changed.

This sounds like some sort of corruption is taking place within the original profiles. What happens when you delete/rename both the ‘xxxx’ and xxxx.yyyy profile folders, does an ‘xxxx’ or an ‘xxxx.yyyy’ profile get created when the user logs on after this?
