Citrix 4.5 is the app running in citrix instance?

Mark Phillips I need to determine, from within my application, whether it is running in an instance of citrix or not. I found the value of the environment variable SessionName begins with “ICA-tcp#xxx” when in citrix, and “console” when run on a standard desktop.

Is this standard across the citrix server products?
Is it a test I could rely on?
