Citrix Password Manager - “Reset user data” functionality

with installing ServicePack 1 is it possible to reset the data of several users via console. in supplemental for administrators guide I found the follow instruction:
“Verify that any users who may be running Password Manager as an application hosted by Citrix Presentation Server are logged off and click Continue to flag the user脗聮s data for reset.”

why is it necessary to log out ALL the users? and on which presentation server? in the whole farm (load balancing)?
I mean that users has run their own instance of password manager agent with the own informations in their profiles.

That was also my idea.
Only the text in Supplement to Administrator’s Guide (see above) and the message which appear to the action in the Console at the time of execution confused me. It can be understood in such a way that all users who run the agent under CPS must be logged out. In German version it is still clearer.
