citrix4Presentation Server 4.0 and XP in the same farm?

Dedra Wagoner I have 3 servers, 1 in the PS4.0 farm and 2 in the XP farm.

Is it, possible to 1 XP servers in the same farm as your PS4 server and THEN setup load balancing by using CHFARM without any issues?

I would then upgrade the other server to PS4.0 to the newest farm and then remove the XP server and either upgrade it to PS4.0 or just go back to two Citrix boxes.

Dedra Wagoner Thanks. I don’t have any load evaluators or Citrix policies in place. By the way, what is the easiest way to get clients to see the new farms published apps. I only have two users testing the P4 box applications and when direclty to there PCs.

Dedra Wagoner I do have three Citrix servers 1 PS4 in its own farm and 2 XPs in another.

So based on your replies, I will be moving one of the XPs to the PS4 farm using CHFARM. Then make sure these two load balance applications. Then upgrade the other XP to Win2003/PS4 and join the PS4 farm. Then remove the remaining XP server from the PS4 farm. This server may or may not have Citrix installed. The third server was purchased so I could upgrade and still have 2 citrix servers up at the same time.
